Project "City car" - come and join us!
As part of the “City Car” project, the first tech seminar was held at the “Yarovit Motors” site, in St. Petersburg, launching the first round of talks between the project team, Russian and foreign companies, representing potential design engineers and suppliers of system components for traction and electric equipment to be used in the proposed hybrid car.
The seminar was attended by such Russian companies as the RUSELPROM (Moscow), Kaskod-Electro (St. Petersburg), ABIT (St. Petersburg), RICON (Voronezh), and Finprom (Saratov), along with a number of independent inventors, Clean Wave Technologies (USA) and FEV (Germany).
The arduous and intense negotiations proved to be capable of making a strong impact, taking the process to another level, as the majority of participants ended up signing contracts for supply of prototype components.
We got added evidence of such seminars’ efficiency, and are currently organizing a series of theme events and negotiations with the parties concerned. The first event of the series is scheduled for April 27-28, and will focus on in-car fuel (CNG) storage and converting various engine types to gas use.
The said event will be relevant to the CNG storage system design engineers and companies producing or currently working on storage technology prototypes that could improve efficiency and reduce cost of in-car CNG storage.
The event may also be interesting for ICE control system developers, whose work could be used to comply with or exceed the requirements of the EURO 5 emission standards for use of natural gas as car fuel.
Please send preliminary application forms along with brief invention summaries to: citycar@onexim.ru
